Our provincial health insurance plan covers only essential medical services.

Although often necessary and quite common, the following services are not covered under your provincial public health insurance plan:

• Services rendered by health professionals other than general doctors or medical specialists (chiropractor, osteopath, acupuncturist, etc.).
• Eye care for persons between 18 and 64 years of age, including eye glasses and contact lenses.
• Dental care services for persons over 10 years of age.
